This July, The Green Dragon is transformed into a Provençal table as we welcome back The Greedy Table for an evening of sun-soaked French cooking, warm company, and proper hospitality, the kind of dinner that makes a Tuesday feel like a holiday. The Greedy Table’s signature supper club format brings a carefully crafted sharing menu to our dining room, ingredients-led, unfussy, & deeply delicious. Think the flavours of a French market: herbs, olive oil, slow-braised meats, fresh seafood & the kind of vegetable dishes that make you understand why the French take food so seriously. Small plates to start include Provence Scallops with tomato, olives & capers, silky Chicken Liver Parfait with cornichons & crusty bread, and Heritage Tomatoes with olive tapenade, courgettes & pistou. Mains span Slow Braised Lamb in Red Wine & Rosemary with whipped goats cheese, King Prawns with braised fennel, lemon zest & white wine, a classic Tuna Steak Niçoise, & a gorgeous Braised Lentil option for vegetarians, all finished with the kind of care that makes simple food extraordinary. One of the most exciting names in UK folk-punk comes to The Green Dragon this summer, & if you haven’t heard of Fraser Morgan yet, you soon will. Join us on Sunday 26th July from 4pm as Fraser Morgan takes to the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable afternoon of live music in the heart of South Devon.
Fraser Morgan is a folk-punk singer-songwriter with a reputation for electrifying live performances, drawing comparisons to Billy Bragg, The Levellers, & Frank Turner. Having recently played his 1,000th show, Fraser brings a rare level of passion, energy, & showmanship to every stage he steps onto. His song Call Me Mate has amassed almost 10 million views online, earning him a coveted “One To Watch For 2025” nod from BBC Introducing. Fresh from a 26-festival summer, including Latitude, Boomtown, Bearded Theory, Green Gathering, & Edinburgh Fringe, Fraser arrives at The Green Dragon in full stride. Expect a beautifully chaotic set packed with anthemic folk-punk, genuine heart, & plenty of his trademark dad-humour between songs. Fraser weaves important messages about mental health into his music, making his shows as meaningful as they are memorable. Something a little special is coming to The Green Dragon this summer.
We’re welcoming back The Greedy Table for an exclusive one-night pop-up on Tuesday 11th August, & this time they’re taking us somewhere warm. Aegean Nights is a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired supper club evening right here in Stoke Fleming, South Devon. THE MENU Small plates to share, generous mains & a very good pudding. Think garlic, chilli & ginger grilled tiger prawns with aioli, creamy burrata with agrodolche blueberries & pistachios, lamb shaksuka, king prawn, chorizo & olive stew, & a Tuscan rolled pork belly that’ll make you very glad you came. Vegetarians are well looked after too, with halloumi & courgette fritters, Greek orzo salad & tzatziki among the highlights.
